| About Us | |
The CYPN was established in early 2006 after the need for a ‘young professionals’ network was identified by employers who were struggling to keep staff from moving on to the larger metropolitan and regional centres. It was decided that the formation of a YPs network would be the ideal way to address this situation through enabling young employees to build professional and personal friendships in the Campaspe Region.
| Our Objective | |
Our aim is to provide young working men and women an opportunity to network with like-minded people and to hear from diverse and inspirational speakers at regular social events and major networking functions held across the region.
| What is a Young Professional? | |
If you are aged 20 > 40-ish and regard yourself as a professional, you are! A degree, diploma or fancy title is not required. Professionalism is a standard of behaviour, it’s about having a passion for what you do and it’s about taking your chosen field of work seriously.
| The Network | |
The Campaspe Young Professionals Network is a not-for-profit group which currently comes under the auspices of the Murray Business Network (MBN) and the Kyabram Community and Learning Centre (KCLC). All sponsorship funds raised are held in trust at the KCLC. We draw our audience primarily from Echuca, Moama, Rochester and Kyabram, with attendance at events also from Mooroopna, Shepparton and Tatura. We hold regular major events with speakers from diverse backgrounds as well as periodic social events.
| How Do I Get Involved? | |
Easy! Membership to the CYPN is free. All you need to do is click on the ‘contact us’ tab on this webpage and email us your details so we can add you to the mail list (please include full name, place of employment, position held & email contact). We look forward to hearing from you!
